>>1121934You're thinking of the Estación del Norte / Estació del Nord in Barcelona, which indeed is now a bus terminal and a gym (although the train line is still there below ground, and the station was replaced by the underground station Arc de Triomf).
The name "Norte" or "Nord" which means "north" refers to the private company that built those station, Caminos de Hierro del Norte, something like Railways of the North.
Truly, Barcelona's Estació del Nord is the most beautiful station in the city, much more so than the functioning Estació de França terminus. But alas, no more trains depart here.
Part of me wishes that the station would become functioning again, but I don't think it would be of much use since all the trains which could use it are better off continuing on through the tunnel, and having trains end there wouldn't do much to unclog the line.
