There was an upcharge starting at maybe 20lbs and it increased with more weight, but our dispatchers never gave us heavy stuff, they routed those pick-ups to the car couriers.
When you place your order, they ask what type of package it is and if you say "box" they ask how big/how much does it weigh. If you lie and a bike comes for it, the bike will probably just call his dispatcher explaining that you fucked up, he'll bounce, and then you get to wait longer on a car.
