This is the Velayo, it is a radical different approach to velomobile design.

The Velayo is built in Germany and costs 5.5k.
It weights 32 kg.

It is much higher, your line of sight is on the same line as that of cars.

Unlike all other velomobiles on the market, the Velayo is front-wheel drive and has a short chain without pulleys and idlers, making it just as an efficient drivetrain as a roadbike.
Contemporary velomobiles have a very complicated drivetrain with a very long chain, chaintubing, idlers and tensioners which cause a lot of drag.

The Velayo is designed by a famous BMW engineer

while it may not look as aero as contemporary velos, it is actually quite efficient and will keep up with them. 210 watts of power input will give you a speed of 40 kph
This has to do with some interesting aerodynamic concepts build into it and the ultra efficient drivetrain (for a velomobile). The higher ground clearance also reduces the turbulence and succ beneath the vehicle.

also the velayo has a very ingenious, and newly invented rear wheel steering system which the inventor has patented, making it more maneuvrable then contemporary velomobiles.
