if you are going to get a custom-design gaspipe fixie, the only respectable choice is to aim for CLASSIC rather than "expensive looking" -- the second choice will always fail, and look tacky

There is nothing wrong with a cheap bike that tries to present itself well.

With a dirt-cheap bike, a radial front wheel might be a poor choice. I cannot say for sure
