>>1129597Not a leg let but if I had a fixed or single speed, Id have a hard time picking a gear ratio. My local bike path would be fine with a very tall gear for ~75% of it, while the other 25% varies greatly from steep 12% climbs, to long, gradual climbs that are steady over the course of a mile.
Bottom line is, unless you love in flat Kansas or something, you should have at least a 5 gears to choose from, as bikes have for like a century now.
