So I just bought a Kona Rove AL for half off. I wanted to know what this community thinks of Kona? Is this bike shit or pretty okay?

Nice bike, almost bought one myself. Got a better price on a GT Grade, so bought it instead. Pretty much the exact same parts on both bikes.

It's more of an XC / enduro bike and I use it as such, although I do take it to a DH course once in a while.

I dunno, I put about $3500 CAD into it. Weighs about 29lbs, super fun to ride. Climbs like a champ.

I've only had Tiagra, 105, and Ultegra, and honestly can't really tell the difference most of the time. Tiagra is a tiny bit coarser, but seems to be just as accurate.

Seems like weight is the only real difference.

Lol, i haven't ridden them, but my guess would be that they're about as good as old 10 speed 105 sti (quite good). They look the same. I take it you're too new to have ridden STI road bikes from that era, and you also have never tried those claris sti and are just talking out of your ass?
