Superior transit system coming through. I've only had one bad experience on Caltrain, and it was someone puking on me while riding back from a ball game. Overall ok.

Still trash compared to the Del Monte, thanks (((Amtrak))). Also was riding one when it hit a car a few years ago. Killed the driver or one of the passengers too.

Their paintjob is very nice though. I'd much rather they adopt that for the whole Capitol Corridor and San Joaquin system than the retarded blue and yellow scheme they have now.

Mostly BART routes duplicates existing or historical rail lines.

Caltrain much better, bikies are nice, it works, need more cars-trains gets packed. Toilets on some train cars.
The proper way to run a commuter rail line.
I like Caltrain.

It's just BART that does that because BART is run by San Francisco and Oakland. SACRT, LACMTA, VTA and the commuter rail agencies don't allow that sort of shit to happen.

There's a reason why Uber started in SF. The alternative is BART.

BART is run by a board of directors from San Francisco, Alameda, and Contra Costa Counties. Like 2/3rds of the board comes from East Bay suburbs.

Uber didn't have fucking anything to do with BART at all. Uber and Lyft started and got a foothold specifically because San Francisco's taxi system is shit. There was no unified taxi service like in New York and all the independent taxis and companies serving the city were super unreliable and there were nowhere near enough cabs to serve the population.

BART has only ever served a narrow strip of the city. Muni metro fills in some of the other gaps, with buses filling the rest.

Probably best you don't talk about shit you have demonstrated zero knowledge of.

Which is represented by Alameda County which is dominated by Oakland and Berkeley. This is also why BART tolerates the situation at the Coliseum station.

That is true, but if BART was great there'd be less of a reason for Uber to exist. At least in my experience, most people take Uber for transbay trips because BART is such a mess and ferries slow.
