I guarantee you that on that street there will be 2 gas stations, a tire/rim shop, a body shop, and a used car dealer
all of that shit takes up space, right in the heart of the city, where people could be living if the city had more sense
on the average person's 15 mile drive into the city, at least 5 miles of that distance was taken up by car infrastructure
