>>1132960i got started on bikes completely out of the blue, bought three clunkers at an auction for less than 30$ after not having ridden a bike for at least 15 years. took them apart in my kitchen and figured i would see what i needed to buy to fix them up. end result: three frames in the corner and and a pile of bike parts on my kitchen table and i had literally no idea what goes where. hadn't it been for sheldon i would never have figured it out and probably thrown it all away and gone back to playing video games. but i didn't, i fixed one and started riding that, then fixed another, then bought another, then sold the first one, and its just been an endless cycle(lmao) since then.
now i ride 40+ miles a week, work delivery, got a road bike, an mtb and have fixed countless bikes for and helped family, friends and neighbours.
if i get to heaven there is nothing i look forward to more than shaking this mans hand. sheldon is a god damn hero
