Is there a way that we can get people to board trains at the same time as others disembark?

I spend so long at the platform seeing a train empty for 30 seconds and then fill up for 30 seconds. We could cut that time in half!

This simply isn't a workable design on homogeneous vehicles. Cf on-board fare collection trams and buses, especially three-door double decker buses.

Meitetsu Nagoya must be some of the busiest dual track suburban rail station handling multiple train classes (27tph) and rolling stock types using ATS only.
On train doors 6-door car design was once common, wide doors less so.

Ironically, both in Madrid and Barcelona the "spanish solution" isn't really in place anymore. New stations aren't built with three platforms, and in the existing ones there's no designated entry and exit platforms, you can just board or alight wherever you want.

Open the exit doors a few seconds before the others.
In case of the platforms of a spanish solution, restrics the platform access with turnstiles and one-way escalators.

No, in Japan they just add more doors. The average train car has like 10 sets of doors on it on the busiest routes.

IIRC they do it successfully on the PATH 33rd Street station. One side of the train opens 10 seconds before the other, so the exiting passengers are all headed in the same direction as the entering passengers
