Could we ever separate /bike/ from /n/? Would it help or harm the board?

I feel guilty starting new threads here. "another bike thread to clog the board that the train guys started"

I don't wanna cause trouble with this post. Things are good enough as-is. But would both audiences get more users if there wasn't so much noise on the board?
