Nothing looked anything like it ever before.
Before the delta v all bikes pretty much looked the same.
When I first saw one it looked like something from the future.
There were ads for it in every bike magazine and articles every month. The thing was massively over hyped because it was the first full suspension ever.
The kicker is they only made a few because they were so expensive to produce. Way more than the average bike at the time.
Cannondale used it to get peoples attention then would sell them a cheaper bike when they came into the shop. No one in thier right mind would pay 1800 bucks for a bicycle in 1991.
Oh how things have changed!
