need help

Long story short, i broke my back (fracture in D12) and am crippled for the rest of my life since 2015.
I am trying to get back in shape and want to go with a bicycle.
Need some advise if this is worth 350€ for a starting one;

If you can move your legs, and have good control of your arms and fingers it should be fine. You don't need accurate leg control, you need accurate hand and arm motion to steer and brake. Legs just need rough pushing motions.

You might. If you go to a local bike shop and explain your situation they'll probably let you take a trial ride. Unforunately back pain doesn't show itself until you get to long rides like over an hour or so. Before that is ass pain for those who do not have hardened asses,and then leg pain. Lots of leg pain from sheer lack of use.
Consider the position of a road bike, leaning forwards. If this gives you pain right away then give up right away.

wouldn't a recumbent be a better bike for someone with back issues? I get back aches from carrying my bag while riding on my road bike, I cant imagine how much pain someone that fractured their back would be in after 30 minutes of riding.

you might want to look into a recumbent, they put much less pressure on your lower back and are extremely comfy
only disadvantage is they're a bit more expensive than a trad bike, but you can get one for $1k probably, and can be heavy
many older or injured people swear by them, and they're very fast because they have much lower drag than an upright

Cycling definitely strengthens you core muscles, which i find helps my lower back pain. But there are also some rough bumps that might hurt.

For core strength, you'd want to be bent forwards, but that might hurt your back more...

My suggestion is fat tires, flat bars. Avoid all bikes with suspension at your price level. Consider thudbuster seatpost

This is a toughroad SLR. Too expensive, but I would consider something like this

Cycling is very easy on your lower back compared to other activities. I can cycle all I want, legs being tired is what usually stops me.

OP, maybe try getting a bicycle from a local bike shop and talk to them about your back issues. See if they'll let you rent one maybe, or perhaps there is a general sports store (like Decathlon in the rest of Europe) that will allow you to return the bike if you discover road bikes don't fit you.

Perhaps also try a mountain bike with slicks or a trekking bike first. Hell, can you ride an omafiets?

It all depends a lot on your injury.

I've had lower back pain for years. No series injury, just lack of exercise and too much sitting. Cured very quickly after I started road riding in an aggressive position. Nothing too strenuous, I just needed to get moving and get my core strength/stomach muscles up and running

go with a flat bar bike like an hybrid/ciclocross/mtb and slowly get in shape, try diferent ones on a local bike shop they are more pricey but since you are handicaped it will be worth it to find a decent fitted bike
