I fundamentally disapprove of that kind of bike for road riding though, but if you're riding in snow that's maybe different i guess, iunno, i don't live somewhere that snows anymore. I can't tell if those tires are shot or awful. Either way. If it's a 'meh' bike maybe don't bother until they start flatting but those will be awful on and off road, slow unconfortable and shitty grip. Get some recs, buy online, and don't cheap out if you replace them, it's the single most important component on a bike.
Your chainring looks shot but maybe not hard to tell from here and the chain is clean/new atleast. If it is the whole drivetrain needs replacing but you could just ride it until it all starts slipping and kill it all at that price then throw it in a culvert.
Turn your front wheel quickrelease up so it can't snag open. Proper tightness on those quickreleases is the axle should be firm/ closed when the qr lever is half closed/ pointing out.
