>>1151013>I paid 12 dollars per wheel to install tires on it. How stupid am I?Depends, if the tires are tubeless and you can not seat them correcly with your equipment, I think it is ok.
If it is about gluing tubular wheels to rims and you want to make sure it is done decently, I think it is ok as well.
If it is about tube type clinchers you could hace tryied it yourself and maybe damged one or two tubes, wich are cheap as fuck.
But there are worse ways to spend your money, like spending it for shitty fastfood.
>>1151024>gatorskinsThey will not protect you against flats, maybe they get less, but at some point you will get a flat.
>>1151065"heavy duty tubes" will not change much, butyl tubes don´t stop glass or metal fragments and are just as sensible to pinchflats.
Even pros have backup tires or tubes and a way to inflate them.
(at least during training, during racing the team car often carries spare wheels)
I would suggest you get yourself tire levers, tubes and a minipump.
