Gonna be working security 12 hours every night for the next year in a giant circular office complex and need something to get around without dying. Also since the office employees are occasionally shitheads they're liable to steal it, even though they earn like 10x what I do so bonus points for some kind of security feature like an ignition key.
I plan to park in the garage level that spans the whole basement and zip over to the nearest elevator lobby, at which point I'll have to leave it there. Since the scooter is going to be transported to work in a van it doesn't need to be light, but of course that helps.
What scooter should I buy?
Is it ok to buy used (like off Craigslist) or should I avoid doing that at all costs?
Are lithium ion batteries worth the cost or are lead acid ones adequate for the job?
