For my wedding, the ceremony took place on a floating chapel (literally a pontoon boat with a tiny church building on top, and the captain performed the ceremony), then we had the reception at the St. Petersburg Museum of History (St. Pete, Florida) across the same parking lot where it was docked. The main exhibit talks about how the birth of the passenger airline industry in 1914, when the world's first commercial passenger flight took place across the bay. Pic is the main room with a model of the airplane used. This took place on September 11 (after 2001), BTW.
>I don't always get married on 9/11, but when I do, I have the reception in a building with a plane flying through it.
