If your cables move a bit, the force on the noodle changes and that moves the arms of the V-brakes a bit, wich moves them off center, wich happens more often on the front than on the rear brake for obvious reasons.
If there is a little play in the pivots the adjustment constantly changes a bit.
I guess if you manage to fix the cable close to the noodle with zip-ties you could make them work a little better.
But once your frame ot fork starts flexing under braking due to fatique, they are shit and offer a verry bad braking force.
