It's un-American that people should have to get out of their freedom machines and walk, ever. However, given the practical difficulties of making carousels and roller coasters that can accommodate automobiles, providing mini-cars that shuttle people from their cars to the park is the least that Disney can do.

Dude, Disney parking lots are not the same thing as the one at your local grocery store. The parking lots in Disneyland California and Magic Kingdom in Florida are among the Top 10 biggest on Earth.

Europoors have the Paris rail system which stops right at Disneyland paris but it isn't the same as the tram.

The disneyland tram is different than the monorail. The monorail takes you around the park and to/from the disneyland hotel.

The tram goes from the main gate and around the parking lot and is on wheels. Essentially a car with a bunch of trailers on it.
