>>1164274>Reality proved you wrong years ago.Authoritarian subsidies creating an artificial market is not reality.
>>1164445Yeah you can... it's a special design of one of the batteries i read about.. suprise suprise seems like google makes it hard to find pages about it. But there is also osmotic power generation which google seems happy to serve us. The classic design of a saltwater battery, like those used by alexander volta, uses aluminum and copper or zinc and copper or magnesium and manganese and those are much cheaper than lithium.
>>1164276no you
But seriously i know the density is low, about 10 times less of lithium, but that's why the saltwater battery or osmotic generator only serves as a VERY economic way of getting around town and such and may feature saltwater refill.. the biofuel powered range extender coupled to "super" capacitors serves as the real energetic medium, but ofc a hybrid system has better efficiency for start stop operation ie capturing the energy from breaking.
Seriously.. the salt water batteries have about 10 times less energy than lithium batteries yet cost MUCH less than 1 tenth of a lithium battery. Saltwater batteries were the first batteries ever invented and use extremely cheap materials. Like an automotive version could even be disposable.
AND SALTWATER BATTERIES ARE SAFE AF. LITHIUM IS MORE DANGEROUS THAN HYDROCARBONS AND THE FIRE CANT BE EVEN BE PUT OUT.
Seriously. The only reason they are force memeing lithium and solar is because they rely on centralized corporate industry and they are fucking scared af about anything that can be decentralized like batteries made from saltwater and zinc and also biofuel that can be produced in bucket ie algae biodiesel or methane from waste and bacteria.
