It's a very basic bike but seems decent so if that seems like a fair price for an entry level actual MTB, go for it. Gears and fork are nothing special but should work okay.

doubt that fork has been serviced and I can almost guarantee the brakes havent ever been bled but if you can do it all yourself go ahead.

That doesn't mean what you think it means...

My brother got this same bike for free, the rear wheel is toast and it needs a good servicing. The fork works surprisingly.

Seems like a solid entry to riding single track, could do worse
