Which cities have the best weekend trip airports? That means you can pass through customs in a few seconds, light queues at immigration and quick, frequent and easy transport to the city centre.

Best and worst thread.

I already nominate "Frankfurt" Hahn for worst.

Probably Belfast International. I mean, "Westeros International". No customs or anything since domestic flight, but public transport is in the form of the Bus 300 from Belfast International to Belfast Great Victoria Street/Europa Buscentre. Bus fare is pretty cheap though, and you're on the new bus to Belfast.
Next one (from that map) is Berlin Schönefeld Airport. The train station is about 500 metres away from the terminal building, and you can use the RegionalBahn, RegionalExpress and the S-Bahn from the station to the city centre, including Berlin Hauptbahnhof.

Generally speaking, there's not a lot of shitty airports other than Hahn, Girona and probably one or two others.

Berlin Tegel is incredible for this. You're in and out of the airport in like 5-10 minutes. Plus it's a 15 minute cab ride from the city center.

Tegel doesn't get any budget airlines though. Air Berlin is dead, and Eurowings probably doesn't count.

I know that feel. I once got the 6 am Eurowings flight from Tegel to Köln-Bonn. I had to wait 6 hours in CGN for my connecting Eurowings flight to Dublin. I was flying home for Christmas, and I couldn't take the Ryanair flight from SXF direct to BFS, since they only fly 3 times a week. The Eurowings flight was direct though, and that allowed me to experience TXF.

Flying back was simple enough, just get the flight arriving at about 8 pm. I had a nice view of the Fernsehturm from the flight, and some nice night pictures too.

Cologne-bonn airport is good. 15 mins and youre in the centre of cologne, similar to Bonn. Plus there are so many 10euro tickets to/from there from many places in Europe.

Too bad those cities are shit and dull like so many other german cities.

Kraków airport has a train that goes straight in to the city center as well. Both airports have really fast immigration and security.

Had a very good friend and still have a sister living in Berlin. Used to visit the city about twice a year from Paris.

The best part about this early flight was arriving in Orly right on time to enjoy sunrise with a coffee and a cig on top of the south terminal before heading down to luggage claim. Comfiest flight experiences I had.

CDG on the other hand is fucking ass cancer.

Yeah, I was living in Berlin a year ago, though I've returned to my homeland. I've only flown there on Ryanair and Eurowings. I can say that between TXF and SXF, TXF is the better airport.
Does Orly have a rail connection? I've heard that CDG has a station built in the airport and has TGV traffic.

Original plans called for the M7 subway line to go all the way to Orly, but the funding for that never came.

CDG is easier thanks to having its RER B station. It's worth noting tho that SNCF ended the Paris Nord-CDG direct services (which were pretty great), so now you're stopping in every single ghetto northern suburb on the way to Paris. Luggage thiefs love it!

Definitely not Oslo Torp, the fact that that airport is even labelled as being in Oslo truly boggles the mind, it's around 2 hours by bus/train to Oslo central station.

Oslo Gardermoen is pretty decent though. Security and immigration and all that is usually pretty quick, and there's a train every 10 minutes that gets you to the city centre in about 20 minutes.

I usually don't care that much about the destination, cause all places have their pluses and attractions, and I also count on the memories I make in that place. I usually travel with friends and we always have a good time anywhere we go. Last we visited Beaver Creek and also rented a limo from here https://blueskylimovail.com/beaver-creek-airport-shuttle/ Had such a great time, it's unbelievable, you can make the most out of anything when you go with friends. It's one of the fondest memories I have now. I hope all this craziness will be over soon so I can go on adventures again with my friends.
