>>1181590Yeah man that's where I'm gonna be working, at least for the summer. I volunteer there too. Sadly no it's not expanded beyond that tiny space. It's not been given any space to expand into, I really wish they had expanded the museum instead of putting in the brewery and the furniture store now arcade. And yes that weird simulator is still there, kids still love it.
>>1181586Ah, well I'm actually not sure. There's a load of documents but I'm not sure they've been properly sorted. I've gone through some while doing volunteer work, lot of maps and some engineering drawings.
I'll tell you a neat story about some documents, there's a wooden tank car at the museum, it was used to transport vinegar (pre stainless steel, because it's acidic would eat through a metal tank). And the restoration guys called up an engineering firm to do a structural analysis. When the guy arrives, he's brought with him the original plans for the car, turns out they were the engineering firm that built it back in the 60s. Pretty cool if you ask me
