>>1183226Poland doesn't cease to amaze me. It's all over the place.
I traveled to Kraków from Berlin twice in fall of 2011 and spring of 2012. In the six month period between the two trips, lots of construction work was going on and the old dilapidated Kraków Główny station turned into a modern shopping center with digital displays and everything, as did a few other stations on the way.
Then the second time, on the way back, I travelled via Warszawa and changed trains on one of the worst post-apocalyptic train stations I have ever seen. The platforms looked like they had suffered three decades of acid rain and no cleaning. The tunnel was full of pasting tables where apparently the locals were having a flea market. The only service infrastructure was a tiny shack with a guy selling tickets and a huge line in front of it.
Then I took the Polish high speed train back to Berlin and everything was excellent. On par with German ICE trains, except that it was on time.
Have a picture of a light rail stop in a park in my city.
