but once you're on the gateway you can never leave it until you hit either the river near St. Paul or the suburbs around Stillwater.
There are some decent tangent trails but very few good loops.
In the West by contrast you can string together century rides totally at random without ever leaving MUP. There is nothing like it anywhere else on Earth.
