The result would be an aircraft that could compete against the An-224 for a bulk and unusual cargo aircraft, but would still fail thanks to the An-224 being designed to accept standard shipping containers and weird niche cargo thanks to a design which initially designed it as a strategic airlifter. The A380 was initially designed as a long range airliner.
Right now, regular versions of the A380 already can carry a large amount of cargo in the cargo hold, but versions of the 777 can carry more cargo while being a normal passenger aircraft.
An A380 Combi version with an expanded cargo section while having the same passenger numbers as a 747-400 or 777 would make more sense.
