What is your live aboard dream?

I cant decide if I want to travel the country in a van for a year or sail around the carribean.

I had an old mtb with all all of my stuff in it and a sleeping bag when my parents kicked me out of the house at 18.

I'm not sure why anyone would want to live like that. Even a van would suck imo. A cruise ship sounds like fun, though.

A solar/wind powered battery bank and a couple of floating solar stills and you'd be set on that beast, barring any mechanical issues of course.
Only landing to get food and basic supplies would be the life, could get used to it pretty easy desu.

Why don’t people have planes they can live in? Something like a Cessna Caravan or Quest Kodiak with a bed and a galley to live in while exploring some wilderness. I’d do that if I were a richfag.

Just purchased this beastie to get out overlanding in. It's 2.8 turbodiesel with low range and locking center diff and 29" muds. I spent last weekend building a bed in the back, and next weekend will take it out on its first trip and sleep in it for the first time.

Being inconspicuous is overrated as fuck. If you're parking at walmart or innawoods no one is going to give a shit what you're in. If you're parking on the street in residential areas, you can't do it in a panel van without drawing attention. The only reason people do it is so they can live in the same spot for a long time without drawing attention. It's for people who want to live in LA or NYC for cheap while working a regular job, not for people looking to travel the world.
