If you were to make a shitty DIY ebike where you somehow could detach all the more expensive parts (battery, motor, controller) to bring with you inside while leaving the actual bicycle locked outside, how would you do it?

Keeping everything in a box on the back rack with a chain down to the wheel is the best idea I could come up with.
