Can you suggest some good ones (hopefully wayy) under $25 that won't make your hands sweaty in 5 seconds? The stock ones I have currently are horrible but pic rel is kinda expensive for almost 40

I like the ritchey foam grips. Very cheap & lightweight, not particularly durable though, need to be replaced every year or every other year. A little uncomfortable to install and take off since they're not locking.

Lizardskins grips are also very popular.

I've been using Fizik superlight classic for a few years now, since I like tape with very minimal squishiness. Anyone got recommendations for similar tape? Might switch it up next time I wrap.

Use Cork bar tape. Wrap the bars first with an old innertube then tape that down. Then wrap from the outside in using cork handlebar tape (approx 15 dollars). Tape it down with black electrical tape at the end.

oh yeah and when you wrap it wrap it counterclockwise (from the perspective of the outside of the bars) so it becomes tighter as your hands push forward on the bars.

If you want grip with little squish try some of the new hexagonal/honeycomb tapes out there like the Marque Hex Grip bar tape (15 on amazon)

And the flatbar version on my dads bike.
Hypoallergenic
Clamp on with stainless hardware
Huge surface area
actually keeps my hands a bit warmer due to their huge (thermal) mass

I regularly repair 30 year old bikes and find the foam types to keep up well
and few types of rubber can stand up so well

haven't installed yet, but since I work at a shop now and get a siqqq discount I ordered some of their higher end stuff, will report back.

Superlight classic has been my favourite tape for awhile so hopefully this is even better
