If anything, it has the highest hobby participation rates on any of the boards. Pretty much everyone in the bike threads does ride, even though most of them are actually slow as fuck and riding absolute pieces of shit they got for almost free. There are a few legitimately serious riders here though, and there's saints like Bacon. The people posting in the public transportation threads pretty much all actually ride buses or light rail, it would be really fucking weird if they didn't. The trail autism threads are about being autistic about trains, and I 100% believe that those boys actually do go out of their way to take pictures of trains and study locomotives and stuff

acute train interest is a real and verifiable phenomenon with a comparatively huge following for how weird the activity is

That's why I like /n/, I only have road bikes and one comuting bike, but I also read things about MTB bikes, and of course, interesting stuff about planes, boats,trains or even city planning and transportation networks.

I alo post on /a/, but I'm not sure most of them like anime.
