>>1211153I live in a city 5 miles away from a city right at the border river, then there's another city directly on the other side of the river. I skate to the 5mi away city, cruise around for an hour or so, then go on to the next city, and repeat on the way home.
>But even if you are writing the truth a 30 miles longboard ride is like a double century or century in cycling equivalent, while on a bicycle it is nothing.I'm not saying it's a super long skate, I was just saying how long it was because I'd mapped it only a few days earlier. And I know, I've done 50mi on the Elroy-Sparta trail. I don't think I've ever hit that on a board (I know I've broken 40mi though, a lot of the time I'll use Wigle Wi-Fi to track the distance, I've been meaning to get a GPS bicycle computer to mount on my board)
>>1211150>Longboarding is hazardous as fuck, the littlest rock or crack could fuck you up. You just need practice, after a while you should be able to catch yourself most of the time. I skate daily and for the last 3 or 4 years there's only one time I year I actually hit the ground. Not to you'll have the roads memorized after skating them often. Hell I even do most of my skating in the middle of the night with no lights.
