>>1211487They're better than they used to be. Still better off buying a craigslist used bike. That's not always feasible though. Some walmart bikes have disc brakes that work fairly well. I keep seeing this weird disc in front/V brake in back setup, but still plenty of dual disc bikes. Stay away from the full suspension models. The kent Roadtech bike is okay. Thumb shifters and stem shifters are better than grip shifters according to most people.
