My anti-union attitudes are America-specific. American unions are shit because they were castrated by the NLRA and insane McCarthy-era loyalty pledges that relate to fears of the USSR. American union attitudes are garbage because they ostracize workers for trying to better themselves, it's considered a kind of disloyalty
Anyone who defends American unionism in its present-day form is a thug and a shit-for-brains who is holding back the economic empowerment of working people
I do not have an issue with organized labor in principle, and in fact I think when done right it is a great thing. For instance many countries in Europe have more inclusive union cultures in which employee training, and upward mobility, are not considered a form of treason against "the people", and unions are empowered to work constructively with other stakeholders, and share responsibility, in the event of a company crisis
My personal experiences in unions, in America, are why I have such a negative attitude towards the ones here, in America
