>>1213264Is this bait? Or have you lived in a cave your entire life, homeschooled, and just today were allowed to interact with the rest of the world?
>I can't believe I'm actually going to respond unironically to this thread...With regards to riding a bike:
See pic related.
Your calf muscles are there to stabilize your ankles and feet during the power stroke.
Your quadriceps (i.e. muscle group on the front of your thighs) provide the main power through the downward part of each pedal stroke.
Your hamstrings (i.e. muscle group on the back of your thighs), contrary to what some believe, does not actually *contribute* power to the cranks on the *upward* part of the pedal stroke, but really just removes the weight of your leg from the pedal as it goes up, effectively making the opposing leg (which is going down) slightly more powerful.
>all my life I've been using my calves..and now we come to how this thread is very possibly BAIT: physiologically speaking, the above statement is impossible, since your calf muscles only move your foot, not your knee joint of anything above it. So you're either a bait-posting troll or you're sadly mistaken and have no clue how your own body works.
That pretty much cover it? Good. Now GTFO you faggot.
