Do you really bother to take flat tire kit on rides?
I just call my mom for a ride if i get a flat, and we take my bike to the local shop and they fix it quick while we have a coffee together then she pays for it because i'm doing her a favour spending quality time with her.
This only happens a few times a year at most.

I take 2 spare tubes which makes repairs quick. Just 1 tube if I'm on my mtb. I also have a patch kit as a backup.

On many of my gravel rides I'd have a hell of a time describing where I am. Most of the roads have names like rgerd 2150, many don't even have signs and most aren't labeled on gps maps or even google maps.

Depends on how far I ride away.
I haven't gotten a flat this year at all, so I'm rather confident in my tires.

Also riding on flat tires isn't impossible, just be verry carefull and shift the load away from the flat tire.

I carry a tube and a co2 canister , Ive never found a decent pump smaller than a floor pump , and I don't feel like patching a tube on the side of the road, I'll do it once I get home.

First, bravo /n/ on not taking the bait on his /r9k/ level of troll.

For me, I ride 25cm tires on flat-ish suburban roads. I'll carry a cannister, cracker and tube and one of those $2 patch kits if I am riding in a charity ride, going somewhere new, or don't have someone at my house I can call and ask to pick me up. Worst case scenario I just call an uber from my cellphone.

This is probably bad form but in the end I just don't need to carry the gear. It would be a hugely different story if I rode over rough roads, had a gravel bike, or rode my MTB.

I do.
Not for myself though, but for other unfortunate riders. Already almost helped two or three of them (and one injured guy, when I gave him a "wet gauze" packet to clean his wounds). Hardly anyone wants my help though since I don't carry a pump.
