FedEx will probably run their MD-11Fs into the ground because that's their operation model, buying up old freighters cheap and saving millions in capital costs.
Lufthansa are really the only proper operators of the MD-11Fs other than FedEx, and they're replacing them with 777Fs.
Everyone is either going to the 777F, the A330-200F/A330P2F or the 747-8F.
