>he yells "NICE PLASTIC BIKE" as he zooms by me

what the fuck did the boomer mean by this?
I wanted to yell "what the hell's that mean" but he was gone too fast

I used to be so edgy like that when I started cycling. I only mellowed out a bit after getting a real road bike and kit and just enjoyed it for what it was.
