Out of all the gimmicky trash today, I can only list these bike inventions as being on all variables (durability, price, ease of use, weight...) superior than previous tech
>threadless headsets (only hard headed pooseuour like Grant still push entirely INFERIOR systems of quill stems, both inferior in durabiltiy and ease of adjustment and mainintence)
>hood ergonomics (yeah...finally we have adult sized hoods)
>more ergonomic bars
>lock on grips
>modern seatpost clamping systems (remember how unrealistically unreliable are vintage one bolt seatposts + heavy + hard to adjust precisely)
>modern flat pedals (againt Grant Petersons of the world still use crappy slippery but AUTHENTIC nonpinned flats insted of modern pinned ones)
