The danger there is that the corner has a decreasing radius and lures drivers to go fast in there.
At the point where it gets more tight these drivers can't brake anymore and crash.
Sometimes there is also sand on the road, makinh it verry slippery.
It is a serious trap and there should be at least a warnig sign.

the straight after the corner is the part where I often signal drivers that there is no oncoming traffic and they can pass safely.
