So, to recap
>2013 - Second at the TdF at 23 years of age
>2014 - Wins the Giro the next year and could have won the Vuelta had he not crashed out
>2015 - Comes within a hair width of winning the tour, only loses because of untimely puncture in crosswinds but still beats Froome in final mountainous stage
>2016 - Messes up tour, manages to win Vuelta only because of Contador splitting the bunch on stage 15
>2017 - Announces intention to do the Giro/Tour double - wins neither
>2018 - Is currently in fourth place at Vuelta where the course should perfectly suit him
What's his problem? Why can't he seem to get it together?
