if is for manteinance, the clanker is running great. it has new brakes, new suspension, new radiator, etc. it's a 1.8l and guzzles a little but for long trips i've installed a liquified gas conversion kit from my previous car, so runs super cheap.
and i live in a rural area of a third world country in southamerica, so inspections are almost inexistent. there's a lot of old cars going around, and nobody cares too much unless you enter a major city.
i really don't use the car for much more than going camping, mtb or shopping in the nearby small town, so it´s ok.
