>>1244243but anon, backpacks make amazing heat retainers during winter
>>1244112Been using a Transit Torrent for the past year, daily carrying a little over 15lbs, 100mi a week. It's ok, it has it's ups and downs.
Pros
>Low cost $60-70>Light empty weight>Large capacity, 40L>Waterproof lining, can handle heavy downpours>Roll topCons
>Little back support>Poor back ventilation on hot days>Top anchor point for strap wore out and had to be resewn>Small zipper outer pocket not water proof, can handle light rain but fills up with water on heavy downpours>Lower anchor point for straps is plastic D ring. Haven't had issues with mine but when I first got the bag, I thought they were the weak point and wanted to replace them with metal carabiners. Turns out the sewn upper anchor point was. It's a solid bag really, considering price/performance, how I ride, and the conditions I ride in. It's a step up from the JanSport backpack I used for over a decade but honestly, I kinda wished I shelled out double for an Ortlieb Velocity
