>>1250068Dork disc is only there to stop your derailer going into your wheel if it's set up wrong (the low limit screw on your derailer also stops this).
High end bikes don't even have them.
Lose it.
Shift to the small ring on your cassette, then lift the chain off the ring and rest it on your bottom bracket shell.
Spin your crank (now with no chain on it). Is it rough? If it is, replace it with a new cartridge unit. That's not expensive and nor are the tools to do it.
Treat yourself to a new chain. Go KMC, easier. You'll need a chain tool as well. Take apart your derailer cage and clean & grease the jockey wheels while you're at it.
You could measure that seatpost with some calipers (or see if the size is marked) and replace it with a higher quality used one. That sometimes makes a tangible difference to comfort and the one on there currently is very cheap. Maybe a nicer saddle if you don't like that one.
Some nicer pedals, i like plastic bmx pedals for bikes like that, especially if those bearings are rough.
Service your hubs if those bearings are rough, same with the headset. Definitely do the headset if there's play in it.
You could get some nice slick tires
You could try and find a cheap quality rigid fork which fits
Maybe a rear rack, zip tie a basket on it. You could do front but you'd need some kind of articulation in the rack which is a bit tricky, i've seen homemade jobs that do work with suspension forks though, basically just needs to be able to pivot and have an extra length to take up slack.
Iunno or do none of that and just ride it into the ground
