So these are full EMUs now? I think it's disappointing they look exactly the same as the existing double deckers they have atm, even if they do have a bit more character than most US railroads

True bi-level, the previous bi-level models were also two separate decks. Don't think I've ever seen galleries run on the NJT.

The same way that the existing NJT bilevels do.

Fun fact: The East River tunnels actually have the shorter roof clearance, so the smallest bilevels are actually the LIRR's, and the NJT bilevels physically can only enter/exit Manhattan from the West.
