>>1270692Indeed, good tires are worth their money, but unless you ride technical stuff or are in danger of a puncture, they don't realy make you noticeably faster.
I got myself a pair of GP4KS2 as well for these reasons after my old tires where worn and dried out.

>>1270695>40 km/hWho rides at that speed for longer than a few minutes except hour-record attempts?
My fastest rides average something like 35 km/h when I don't draft like a maniac.
>>1270698I own 5 bikes in total, my roadbike is a modified Fuji Sportif 2.5 with compact chainset, 155mm cranks, 25mm GP4KS2 tires, slammed stem (procraft 150mm 38°), dual bottlecages, minipump, patchkit and cadence sensor.
The fit is indeed a little odd, but that is what I consider comfortable.
Depending on the type of riding I do as well:
tribars, lights, rear mudguard, GoPro, aluminium phonemount
I could indeed reduce its weight substantialy by upgrading the frame, groupset or wheels, but climbing never was an issue for me during grouprides anyway.
