>>1271672Good news for most people but not for those who have a life schedule different from others
>>1271675There are more elevators at those stations you mentioned than what's available here, and they're also designed to be fast and have a larger capacity, so they're more efficient in dealing with with rush hour passenger flow
>>1271675I read that the plan is that ultimately there will be four bridges with eight elevators in them in total after the development plan is to be completed, but don't forget the development area is still not completed yet with many more new residential building to be constructed for people to live in and the population there is going to reach 50,000+ after everything are to be completed. So I won't be that optimistic.
>>1271677The rail development plan 2016 also included a line that would serve the hillside residential area following DAB's suggestion despite the government abandoned the same idea because of it being technically not feasible just a few years ago.
It doesn't seems like they have decided to use which sort of system for such a line yet with Linear metro seems like a likely option, but IMO it would be a more integral choice if it can use the same system as the upcoming Kai Tak EFLS system if they're actually going to build that.
Granted that the line was going to serve the Sau Mau Ping area and Po Tat area in the proposal but it's also possible for the plan to be changed to better cover the Anderson development zone now that the transportation situation there turned out to be chaotic as such.
