I think Mercedes suspension would be better than BYD one.

Santiago has a pretty severe pollution problem and I think this is one of the main incentives to move away from diesel buses. Though I still wonder if LPG powered buses would have been a better idea, taxis around seem to be doing just fine

Battery-electric buses have always seemed like a dumb idea to me. There's just no way you can make good enough batteries for it to be practical, especially when trolleybuses are a thing.
