I know little about aircraft, especially unique aircraft like this one; are the props counter-rotating just to create more thrust, or to prevent the airframe from being twisted due to torque, or both? Looks like the engine horsepower of this bird is roughly twice what the original wartime P51's engine produced, so is the answer to the above question 'both' (more thrust, plus not twisting the entire plane into a pretzel)?
