From my observations of the initial tunnel tests, the bumpercar sleds are bouncing all over the curbs causing a vibration that scares me into believing that one of them will jump the track
I feel that this was conceived in a rush without a rail of some sort used to support each with an enclosure of some sort for the carrier sled in the front to create the vacuum they need to get high speeds with little vibration
Watch the car in the demos and it doesnt ever show the speed any faster than a 10-20 mph mode through the tunnel
The rectangle fitting through the curves has a direct contact with a concrete barrier and even at that speed it becomes a bouncing bumper cavitating back and forth through the turns as one side is trying to compensate for the curve and the rectangular shape cant bend through it
All he needed was to design a rail system and yet these roller platforms have a roller wheel on the corners..
