You see people building stuff based on these photos. Again I am not immune or judging, just pointing out this pernicious mechanism here. even "low budget" bikes become an expensive display of conspicuous consumption. It's poison for me. I don't like it. It's antithetical to everything Sheldon did.
I thin the issue is he's a fixie hipster. Sheldon helped start the trend but was coming from a completely different angle. Radavist is about aesthetic trends from day 1, and he's inviting cynical hipsters into every grass-roots cynical culture development before it gets a chance to flourish (it maybe even be left alone forever)
